Mon. Oct. 31st - 9am Happy Halloween !
Anchor River - Still a few open spots on the river for Steelhead fishing, as the ice is freezing up the along the banks.  It has been a great year for Steelhead fishing and the size of the fish were big this year!  This proves that the careful treatment of our precious resource is paying off.  Thank you for all your support and appreciation for this report, I appreciate your appreciation !

Sun. Oct. 30th - 9am
Anchor River - Lots of slush in the river and there are still a few out there Fishing, you just have to get down under the slush.

Sat. Oct. 29th - 9am
Anchor River - Cold Temps have started to freeze up the river  along the banks and lots of slush.

Fri. Oct. 28th - 9am
Anchor River - Slush in the river this morning and seems to lighten up by 1 or 2pm.  Still catching Steelhead !

Thurs. Oct. 27th - 9am
Anchor River - Cold Temps. have started to put slush in the river.  It was gone by around 2pm and Steelhead fishing picked up in the afternoon.

Weds. Oct. 26th - 9am
Anchor River - Clear river conditions for Steelhead fishing and warmer today. Snow on the banks make for some beautiful pictures. 

Tues. Oct. 25th - 9am
Anchor River - Snow and cold today has put a little slush  in the river, cold water has slowed up the fishing a little.

Mon. Oct. 24th - 9am
Anchor River - Beautiful Day and fishing has been good. It has slowed down just a little as the water has turned colder, but still great Steelhead fishing !

Sun. Oct. 23rd - 9am
Anchor River - Water temp has dropped and the fish are a little slow starting and seem to turn on after the sun hits the water, conditions are great, but cold!

Sat. Oct. 22nd - 9am
Anchor River - Little cooler this morning.  Fishing has been good and river conditions are great.

Fri. Oct. 21st - 9am
Anchor River - River is in great condition, clear water and just a little higher that a few days ago, but a non factor. Fishing has been good !

Thurs. Oct. 20th - 9am
Anchor River - Water came up just a little and turned dirty, but not blown out,  Fishing was good, even with a little color inthe river.

Weds. Oct. 19th - 9am
Anchor River - Great fishing today with several Steelhead caught and released, water was perfect !

Tues. Oct. 18th - 8am
Anchor River - River looks good today, with the water being just a little high and off color.  Water cleared up by the end of the day and fished well today !

Mon. Oct. 17th - 8am
Anchor River - Water has come up and turned off color, less than 1 foot visibility. 

Sun. Oct. 16th - 8am
Anchor River - Good fishing in the morning then the water started to turn color and raise up.  Fishing slowed down after that.

Sat. Oct. 15th 8am
Anchor River - The river is fishing well.   You will find fish all through the river.  Conditions are perfect !
Deep Creek - Is also fishing well with lots of fish throughout the river.

Fri. Oct. 14th - 8am
Anchor River - The river is in great shape and the Steelhead fishing has been good.
Deep Creek - There are many Steelhead in the river and conditions are good.  We've seen some huge Steelhead come out of Deep Ck. this year.   Dolly Lama's !

Thurs. Oct. 13th - 8am
Anchor River - Steelhead and Dolly Varden fishing has been good!  The river is in great shape, with low clear water.
Deep Creek- Fishing has been amazing!

Weds. Oct. 12th - 8am
Anchor River - Great River conditions with clear water and just a little high, but able to do most river crossings.  Steelhead fishing had been good !

Tues. Oct. 11th - 8am
Anchor River - Snow and light rain last night, but didn't do much to the river, just a touch high and still clear.

Mon. Oct. 10th - 8am
Anchor River - It is starting to drop and is clearing up to about a foot visibility. Still good conditions, but just a little high.

Sun. Oct. 9th - 8am
Anchor River - Water has come up and turned dirty color and should flush through by noon today, Lower river still good till noon.

Sat. Oct. 8th - 8am
Anchor River - Good river conditions with clear water and just a little high.  the water came up very slowly, but is still clear.

Fri. Oct. 7th - 8am
Anchor River - Great Steelhead fishing remains with the good river conditions.

Thurs. Oct. 6th - 8am
Anchor River - River is in great condition and the Steelhead fishing has been great !  It has been slowly dropping and is at a nice level.

Anchor River - The river is in great condition and the fishing is great !

Tues.  Oct. 4th - 8am
Anchor River - Fishing is back to being good and the river is nice and clear, water is at a good level for most river crossings.

Mon. Oct. 3rd - 8am
Anchor River - Not bad conditions today, just a little high.  The Steelhead fishing has been a little tougher.

Sun. Oct. 2nd - 8am
Anchor River - Water is clearing up, but still is high and coming up a little today.

Sat. Oct. 1st - 8am
Anchor River - Water is high dropping slowly and off color, with maybe a one foot visibility. 

Fri. Sept. 30th - 8am
Anchor River - The water level has started to drop, but it is still very dirty and high.  Steelhead fishing has been good until the river came up.

Thurs. Sept. 29th - 8am
Anchor River - Rain has brought the river up and it is very off color. Rain continues today and not looking good for tomorrow.

Weds. Sept. 28th - 8am
Anchor River - Good Steelhead fishing remains throughout the river and we are seeing BIG Steelhead this year. River has dropped a little and cleared up.

Tues. Sept. 27th - 8am
Anchor River - Steelhead fishing in the morning was good then seemed to taper off in the afternoon.  The water came up about 6 inches and got a little tint of color , but we still did good.

Mon. Sept. 26th - 8am
Anchor River - Little rain last night might bring the river up a little but should get too dirty.  Steelhead fishing has been great !  Many fish in the river.

Sun. Sept. 25th - 8am
Anchor River - Great Steelhead fishing throughout the river and we saw fish all the way up to BWB.

Sat. Sept. 24th - 8am
Anchor River - Great river conditions remain with clear water and at a nice water level. Plenty of Steelhead in the river and good action all the way up to BWB.

Fri. Sept. 23rd - 8am
Anchor River - Absolutely a beautiful day today and blessed with a nice Steelhead for my client.  Steelhead fishing is great right now and the river is in great condition.

Thurs. Sept. 22nd - 8am
Anchor River - River has improved to a good condition, with just a tint of color and the Steelhead fishing continues to be good !

Weds. Sept. 21st - 8am
Anchor River - Looking better today, with it clearing to about one foot visibility and still running high.  Too high for many of our normal crossings.

Tues. Sept. 20th - 8am
Anchor River - River starting to drop today and clear up, but still looks dirty and high.

Mon. Sept. 19th - 8am
Anchor River - Rained hard last night and the water is up and will hit lower river about noon.  Steelhead fishing has been good.

Sun. Sept. 18th - 8am
Anchor River - Good Steelhead fishing and good river conditions today. 

Sat. Sept. 17th - 8am
Anchor River - Little rain last night will flush through some dirty water by about noon in the lower river.  Been good fishing with many fresh Steelhead all through the river.

Fri. Sept. 16th - 8am
Anchor River - Great fishing today with good river conditions.  Just a little tint to the river and just a touch high,

Thurs. Sept 15th - 8am
Anchor River - Steelhead fishing was good today in the upper river.  We caught a few big Steelhead and seem to be hanging in the deep holes and runs.

Weds. Sept. 14th - 8am
Anchor River - Good conditions today, with just a litle tint of color and running a touch high.

Tues. Sept. 13th - 8am
Anchor River - Great day on the water, with the water looking nice and clear, dropping as we fished today.  Good river conditions.

Mon. Sept. 12th - 8am
Anchor River -Water came up just a little and added a little color, but we still had a successful day, catching Steelhead and Dolly's

Sun. Sept. 11th - 8am
Anchor River - Water looks good, just a little off color and not too high.  We were able to make river crossings in normal places.

Sat. Sept. 10th - 8am
Anchor River - The river has come down just a little bit and has cleared up nicely, should be good today and better tomorrow.

Fri. Sept. 9th - 8am
Anchor River - Water looks a little dirty and starting to clear up, but still a high. Steelhead are biting on flies and beads.

Thurs. Sept. 8th 8am
Anchor River - Water came up about 6 inches and turned to mud puddle color.  Fishing has been good and we have until about noon today in lower river, before the flush of dirty hits. Lower river meaning Slide Hole Area.

Weds. Sept. 7th 8am
Anchor River - Great River conditions today with a about normal river levels and clear water.   Steelhead should be moving up.

Tues. Sept. 6th - 8am
Anchor River - Looking much better with the water level dropping and its much more clear today with about 1.5 ft visibility.

Mon. Sept. 5th - 8am
Anchor River - Still some color in the river but starting to drop and clear slowly.

Sun. Sept. 4th - 8am
Anchor River - High and dirty, but starting to clear a little.  Still reports of Steelhead being caught on beads.

Sat. Sept. 3rd - 8am
Anchor River - The Water is dropping and clearing, but still running high and visibility is only about a foot or so. Light rain continues today throughout the area.

Fri. Sept. 2nd - 8am
Anchor River - Water looks a little dark, clearing up slowly and still very high. Maybe by Sunday or Monday it will be better.

Thurs. Sept. 1st
Anchor River - Water came up even more and fishing is blown out.

Weds. Aug 31st - 8am
Anchor River - Rain has the river looking like crap, with high and dirty water.

Tues. Aug. 30th - 8am
Anchor River - Rain, Super high water and very dirty

Mon. Aug. 29th - 8am
Anchor River - River looked ok with just a little color.  We watched the water raise up and turn dirty as we fished.

Sat. Aug. 20th - Aug. 28th 
The fishing report will be on pause. I will be on a week float trip on Moraine Ck, chasing Big Bows and fishing with the Bears!  Hey! Hey! Boo! Boo!  Restart on the 29th

Anchor River - Rain, Rain, Rain.. if it stops, it will take 1-2 days to clear up.

Thurs. Aug. 18th - 8am
Anchor River - The water is still high and dirty, and will be until this rain stops !  Fishing has been slow with the high water.

Weds. Aug. 17th - 8am
Anchor River - High and very dirty water from all the rain.

Tues. Aug. 16th - 8am
Anchor River - It was slow fishing with only a couple of Pinks.  Water is coming up from all the rain.

Mon. Aug. 15th - 8am
Anchor River - There is a  little color int he river but we caught a couple of Silvers on the high tide.

Sun. Aug. 14th - 8am
Anchor River - River condition improving and just a little tint of color in the water.  Good Silver action today, best day so far for Silvers with the big tides.  Water is up another 3 inches or so.

Sat. Aug. 13th - 6am
Anchor River - High and Brown water from all the rain last night.  Only one report of a Silver caught today.  Water level came up a little.

Fri. Aug. 12th - 6am
Anchor River - Rain all day and is turning the river to a Mocha color with poor visibility.

Thurs. Aug. 11th - 6am
Anchor River - Good Silver action today as we start to see Silvers in better numbers pick up.  Good Dolly fishing today.

Weds. Aug. 10th - 6am
Anchor River - Pink Salmon are in the river and the Dolly Varden fishing was good up river a couple miles.

Tues. Aug. 9th - 6am
Anchor River - Lots of Pink Salmon action today and no Silvers .

Mon. Aug. 8th - 6am
Anchor River - Dolly action was Hot today when fishing up river from the confluence.  River is in good condition.

Sun. Aug. 7tst - 6am
Anchor River - Was a good day on the river today, with one Steelhead today and a couple of Pinks. 

Sat. Aug. 6th - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly action today with good river conditions.  We could use a little water as it is still low.

Fri. Aug. 5th - 6am
Anchor River - Good river conditions, although a little low for this time of year.  Dolly action was good today and no reports of silvers.

Thurs. Aug. 4th - 6am
Anchor River - Still no sign of Silvers yet, heard of one caught but didn't see it.
Kenai River - Still getting Sockeye in the Soldotna area and upper river has been hot.  The Upper Kenai river limit has gone to 6.

Weds. Aug. 3rd - 6am
Anchor River - Lots of Dolly's in the river and they have moved up river. 
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing continues to be steady at about 30,000 per day.  Still got 6 today.

Tues. Aug. 2nd - 6am
Anchor River - Good dolly fishing today with lots of action, no Silvers in sight yet.
Upper Kenai River - Water looks like Windex and has dropped to a nice level.  Plenty of Sockeye up there and the Bows were biting!

Mon. Aug. 1st - 6am
Anchor River - tried for Silvers today and nothing happening, but did manage to catch a couple Pinks.
Kenai River - Great Sockeye fishing today in the Soldotna area, water is at a nice safe level.

Sun. July 31st - 6am
Anchor River - Dolly action has slowed down in the lower river and seem to have moved up. No sign of Silvers yet, but have heard of one caught. Water is still low.

Sat. July 30th - 6am
Anchor River - Still looking for the Silvers to come in in big numbers.  There was a report of one being caught, just not by me or our group.  Few Pink Salmon showing up.

Fri. July 29th - 6am
Anchor River - Good Dolly action today with many caught and saw lots of flashed.  There are a few Pinks in the river.  Hoping the water level comes up in the next few week for a better Silver Season.

Thurs. Ju;y 28th - 6am
Anchor River - Still looking for Silvers and the Dolly's were hot today. 6 yr old and a 11 yr old lit them up today on almost every cast, they had a blast of a time ! 
Kenai River - Water has dropped a little, making Sockeye fishing a little better.  There were a nice push of Sockeye today and we did well.

Weds. July 27th - 6am
Anchor River - There were a bunch of lively Dolly's in the river and caught one Pink today.  Water level is still low.
Kenai River - Great Sockeye fishing today and caught one huge Rainbow!

Tues. July 26th - 6am
Anchor River - A Great day on the river with many Dolly's being caught with non stop action.

Mon. July 25th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is still low and not much change.  Dolly's are hot and we could see Silvers coming in at anytime.

Sun. July 24th - 6am
Anchor River - River conditions remain to be good with little low water but nice and clear.  Dolly's we HOT! today !
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing continues to be great !

Sat. July 23nd - 6am
Anchor River - Active Dolly action in the river with fair to low water.

Fri. July 22st - 6am
Anchor River - I have not caught or seen Silvers yet, but any day now !
Kenai River - Sockeye Limit increases to 6 per day.  River is high and full of fish.

Thurs. July 21th - 6am
Anchor River - Still a little low, but good Dolly action.
Kenai River - Full of Sockeye and the limit goes to 6 tomorrow.

Weds. July 20th - 6am
Anchor River - Evening fishing was awesome for Dolly's, still haven't seen any sign of Silvers yet.
Kenai River - The river is fishing well for Sockeye as the numbers increase .

Tues. July 19th - 6am
Anchor River - River is still up just a little, the rain didn't do much to raise it.
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing was good and seems to be getting better. River still high, wear a wading belt !

Mon. July 18th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is fairly clear after the rain and muddy water.
Kenai River - Water is high and fishing has been good.

Sun. July 17th - 6am
Anchor River - Water high and muddy.

Sat. July 16th - 6am -
Anchor River - Looks like the rain will bring up the river a little.

Fri. July 15th - 6am
Anchor River - Opens today with the water quite low.
Kenai River - We caught a few fish, but it is not hot and heavy !

Thurs. July 14th - 6am
Anchor River - Opens tomorrow with the river low and clear.

Weds. July 13th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is low, but we should see it come up a little with the rain coming.

Tues. July 12th - 6am
Anchor River - Not much change, water is low and clear.
Kenai River - Got our 3 fish today and seeing some fresh fish coming in !

Mon. July 11th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is low.
Kenai River - Very high !

Sun. July 10th - 6am
Anchor River -  We need some water in the river if we are going to have any kind of fall Silver and Steelhead fishing.

Sat. July 9th - 6am
Anchor River - We are sure looking forward to the river opening next Sat.  Should be some Dolly's in there.

Fri. July 8th - 6am
Anchor River -Not much change, water is low.
Kenai River - Stating to pick up some 2nd run Sockeye with some good size fish.

Thurs. July 7th - 6am
Anchor River - We could use some water as it is very low.
Upper Kenai River - Water is high, but did well on Dry flies for Bows.

Weds. July 6th - 6am
Anchor River -River is low and clear, we could use some water.

Tues. July 5th - 6am
Upper Kenai River - Water is still running high and making it a little tough for fishing.  No reports of Kenai Reds arriving upper river yet.

Mon. July 4th - 6am
Anchor River - Is getting so low, it is getting scary !  Hate to say it but we need rain !  Happy Independence Day !!

Sun. July 3rd - 6am -
Kenai River - River is still rising a little each day.  Should be a good Sockeye run this year.

Sat. July 2nd -6am
Kenai River - Sockeye fishing continues to be good.  We got a 2nd run Sockeye today !

Fri. July 1st - 6am
Anchor River - Closed until July 15th
Kenai River - Good Sockeye fishing in the Soldotna area as we still are getting a few fish each day.  The river continues to rise.

Thurs. June 30th - 6am
Kenai River - River is still rising a little each day to its normal level.  Great Sockeye fishing up at the Russian River, with a limit of 6 per day there.

Weds. June 29th - 6am
Kenai River - Still getting some Sockeye in the lower river, even though its in the lull between the 1st and 2nd run Sockeye, there are still fishing moving through !

Tues. June 28th - 6am
Kenai River - We had good luck today, landing 3 Sockeye and missing several.  River has come up about two inches where i was at.

Mon. June 27th - 6am
Kenai River - Still seeing some Sockeye in the lower river, but not the number like up at the Russian River.  Saw the river start to raise up a little.

Sun. June 26th - 6am
Kenai River - Great reports from the Russian river area, with the limit at 6.

Sat. June 25th - 6am
Kenai River - Still seeing some sockeye caught in the lower river, today was a little slower.

Fri. June 24th - 6am
Kenai River - Good Sockeye action today !

Thurs. June 23rd - 6am
Kenai River - There is some good Sockeye fishing in the lower river, but in low numbers.  Rainbow fishing is improving.

Weds. June 22nd - 6am
Upper Kenai River - Russian River Sanctuary will open early today Weds. June 22nd. 3 fish limit, 6 in possession.

Tues. June 21st - 6am
Anchor River - Closed for fishing until July 15th..
Upper Kenai River - Sockeye fishing has been good !

Mon. June 20th - 6am
Anchor River - Closed for fishing until July 15th..
Kenai River - Good Sockeye fishing for the numbers today.

Sun. June 19th - 6am
Anchor River - Closed for fishing until July 15th..
Kenai River - Sockeye Fishing continues to be good.

Anchor River - Getting lower. Closed for fishing until July 15th..
Kasilof River - Sockeye fishing continues to improve.

Anchor River -Great river conditions, but the water is a little low.
Ninilchik River - No reports of the fishing, but the river is in great shape.
Deep Creek - River is low and clear and have not heard of any reports today.
Kenai River - Good reports of the Sockeye in Soldotna.
Kasilof River - Good King Salmon fishing today from the bank and they did good in the drift boats as well.

Anchor River - Great river conditions.
Ninilchik River -  River is in good shape, but no reports of fish.
Kasilof River - King Salmon fishing was very active this morning and we got one Sockeye.

Sat. June 11th - 6am
Anchor River - River is in good shape.

Fri. June 10th - 6am
Anchor River - River closed.

Thurs. June 9th - 6am
Anchor River - River closed.

Anchor River -River is in great shape, catch and release only for Kings.

Anchor River - River has dropped to a nice level and we have seen a good number of Kings move up past the weir.
Kasilof River - Water is still low. There has been a few Sockeye caught and the King fishing is still slow, but improving daily.

Tues. May 31st - 6am
Anchor River - The river is dropping slowly and we have had a good push of Kings past the weir.

Mon. May 30th - 6am
Anchor River - There are some Kings moving through and we had good action today landing 3 of 4. River conditions continue to improve.

Sun. May 29th - 6am
Anchor River - Good conditions with no rain in sight we should see the river get back to a normal level.
Kasilof River - Good reports of King fishing from the bank today.  No reports from the drift boats, but didn't see any Kings landed.

Sat. May 28th - 6am
Anchor River - Great river conditions for the Memorial weekend. Our guys landed 4 Kings today.
Kasilof River - Water still low and coming up very slowly.  Steelhead fishing starting to slow dramatically.

Fri. May 27th - 6am
Anchor River - We have good river conditions, as the water still continues to drop.

Thurs. May 26th - 6am
Anchor River - Water is starting to drop nicely, should be a great weekend on the river.

Weds. May 25th - 6am
Anchor River - Slow fishing today, but the river is shaping up nicely. It is still a little early.

Tues. May 24th - 6am
Anchor River - Should have good river conditions for tomorrow and we've seen a few Kings past the weir, that's a good sign.
Kasilof River - One Steelhead today and the river is still very low.
No Kings caught from the boats that I could see.

Mon. May 23rd - 6am
Anchor River - Water is a little high and off color, but should be a good day on the water.
Kasilof River - No reports of Kings today and no sign of Sockeye yet.

Sun. May 22nd - 6am
Anchor River - Only one report of a King caught and released today, and no Steelhead today.

Sat. May 21st - 6am
Anchor River - Opens today !  River is in good conditions for the opener and we have had a few Kings past the weir.
